Scott Ertl is a passionate follower of Jesus dedicated to exploring the incredible truths in God's Word and discovering how they lead us to the loving heart and presence of God. He believes that the Bible is an invitation into a wonderful, life-long journey with the triune God and desires to pursue his own journey while helping to point others towards theirs. He strives to speak the truth of Scripture in a practical and relevant manner.
Scott is also passionate about marriage and helping to foster Biblical, life-giving relationships between husbands and wives. He experienced a wonderful, blessed 28 year marriage to his wife Julie before losing her to cancer in 2020. He recognizes that all marriages are composed of two imperfect people and
that his own marriage worked so well because they followed biblical principles and partnered with one another and the Holy Spirit to navigate a healthy path relationally. He seeks to help others to find this, as well.
Scott has degrees in history, engineering and theology, and takes inspiration for his life and teaching from such diverse sources. He is the father of three adult children and grandfather to one.
